About God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-existent, co-eternal, and co-equal in divine perfection and are one God.

About Jesus

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins. While we were yet sinners Christ died for us on the cross and took our place. Justification is to be legally acquitted from wrongdoing. Justification is God forgiving us of our sins through Jesus, so when we put our faith in Jesus’ redemptive work on the cross for us, God would see us as righteous just as Jesus was righteous in His living, because He took upon Himself the punishment for our sins. Jesus purchased with His life’s blood the pardon for all who believe in Him. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

About the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved. We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit as enumerated in 1 Corinthians 12-14 and as manifested in the Early Church. As Christians, we seek to live under His control daily.

About the Bible

The Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error and unchangeable.

About You

You are made in the spiritual image of God to be like Him in character. You are the supreme object of God’s creation and love. Although you have tremendous potential for good, you are marred by an attitude of disobedience towards God called “sin.” This attitude separates you from God until the relationship is restored through a personal commitment to Jesus Christ.

About Salvation & Christian Living

Salvation is God’s free gift to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. Simply put Jesus is the only way to salvation. When we repent and turn from our self-ruled life and turn to a whole-hearted acceptance of Jesus Christ in faith we are saved. The Bible say if you confess with their mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Salvation is completely through grace; that no human righteousness or merit can contribute to our receiving God’s love and favor.

Salvation begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith. The change that takes place in a person at conversion is a very real one; that having received righteousness in Christ and having received of His Spirit, having new life, new desires, interests, and pursuits in life growing in sanctification, become partakers of His holiness by daily growing stronger in faith, power, prayer, love, service, and desire to please God and abstain from sin. Entire Sanctification is the will of God for all believers and should be earnestly pursued by walking in obedience to God’s Word.

• Baptism & the Lord’s Supper (Communion)

Jesus never asked His disciples to remember His birth. But He did instruct them to remember His death and resurrection. He gave the church two visible symbols (called “ordinances”) as reminders of His death. These two ordinances are: Baptism and The Lord’s Supper (Communion)

• Water Baptism & Baptism in the Holy Spirit

After receiving salvation being baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is an essential response to Jesus’ command, testifying and declaring to His lordship as Christ and King. Baptism is the wedding ring for those who have been saved. Baptism in the Holy Spirit empowers believers to exalt Jesus, to live lives of holiness, and to be witnesses of God’s saving grace; we expect the Spirit’s incoming to be after the same manner as that in which He came upon believers in the days of the Early Church.

• The Lord’s Supper (Communion)

The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements, bread, and the fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ; a memorial of His suffering and death; and a prophecy of His second coming; and is enjoined on all believers “until He comes.”

• Love God. Love People. Serve.

Living out the Great Commandment by first loving the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind and the second commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself. The Great Commission is to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything Jesus has commanded.

• Spirit-Filled Living | The Gifts & Fruits of the Spirit

It is the will of God that believers walk in the Spirit moment by moment, serving the Lord and living lives of patience, love, truth, sincerity, and prayer. The Holy Spirit uploads ministry gifts upon believers for the purpose of building up the Body of Christ through edification and evangelism; as evidence of a Spirit-filled life, believers should show spiritual “fruit”: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.

• PointGroup Life

The early church meet together in point (small)  groups growing in the Word, eating, praying, giving where needed, encouraging one another and doing life together in true fellowship and God added to their number daily.

• Tithing and Offerings

We believe in the Tithe (the first ten percent of our income) that belongs to the Lord, offerings that are given willingly, and alms that are given to the poor. Tithing and Offerings are ordained of God to sustain His ministry, spread the Gospel, and release personal blessing.

About Eternity

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. Hell is a place of darkness, deepest sorrow, and unquenchable fire, which was not prepared for man but for the devil and his angels; yet it will become the place of eternal separation from God for all who reject Christ as Savior. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven is the glorious habitation of the living God and the eternal home of born-again believers.

About Divine Healing

We believe that divine healing is the power of Jesus Christ to heal the sick in answer to the prayer of faith; He, who does not change, is still willing and able to heal the body, as well as the soul and spirit in answer to faith.

About The Second Coming of Christ

We believe that the second coming of Christ is personal and imminent; the certainty of His coming and the fact that no man knows the hour of His coming prompt our evangelistic efforts; that the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven, the dead in Christ shall rise, and the redeemed will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air.

About Church Relationship

We believe that it is our sacred duty to identify ourselves with a congregation of believers with whom we can worship God, observe the ordinances of Christ, exhort and support one another, labor for the salvation of others, and work together using our individual gifts to build up and advance the Lord’s Kingdom.

About Evangelism

A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for a two-fold purpose: (1) The evangelization of the world, and (2) The edifying of the Body of Christ.

About Judgment

We believe that all shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ: the redeemed to be delivered unto everlasting life, and the unrepentant unto everlasting punishment

About Marriage

We believe marriage and sexual intimacy are wonderful gifts from God to be stewarded for His glory. God’s design for marriage is to be between one man and one woman for life. Biblical marriage requires that both people have biological differences from birth as male and female. Any sexual relationship or activity outside of biblical, covenanted marriage is sinful and is not blessed by God. While marriage is a gift from God, we also believe that singleness can be a gift from God and can be God’s call on a person’s life.
